ABOUT
Keweenaw Community Forest Company (KCFC) is a Michigan 501 (c)(3) public charity corporation founded in 2003. Since its inception, KCFC has worked to acquire, manage and conserve forests, wetlands, watersheds, and native habitats and species of the Keweenaw. KCFC works with scientists, foresters, loggers, conservancies, local units of government, and businesses to better understand Keweenaw and implement wise conservation practices. KCFC is managed by a local board of directors dedicated to the Keweenaw.
